Program: The Football Pool pick reminders · Sender: Creative Momentum, LLC

What we send

Creative Momentum, LLC sends pick-deadline reminders to members of The Football Pool, a private, invite-only NFL pick'em web app, who have opted in. A reminder goes out about one hour before a pick deadline, and only if that member still has picks missing for the games that are about to lock. A member whose picks are complete gets no text.

We send no marketing or promotional texts, and the messages contain no wagering, odds, or advertising content.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Expect at most a few texts per week during the NFL season (September through February), and none in the off-season.

How members opt in

A member signs in to The Football Pool and opens their Profile page.
Under Notifications, they click Set up text reminders.
They enter their mobile number and tick two checkboxes, both unchecked by default: a consent to receive the texts, and an acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
They click Send code and enter the one-time code texted to that number to confirm it.

The consent checkbox reads:

By checking, you consent to receive pick reminder texts from Creative Momentum, LLC (this pool). Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.

The opt-in form on a member's Profile page. Both checkboxes start unchecked.

Opting in is never a condition of membership. The pool, its website, and email reminders work the same without text messages.

Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately. You'll get one confirmation text and nothing after that.

Members can also turn text reminders off, or remove their number entirely, on their Profile page at any time.

Costs and carriers

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
